My expository guidelines on how I lost over 30kg + a snatched waist without surgery.

“STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING!”. That’s all I’ve been hearing from everyone.

However, before we dive in let me introduce myself. My name is Mercy. All my life I’ve been relatively considered fat. So it was to my chagrin when I visited home the last time and on my first night, my parents couldn’t sleep. My dad woke my mum up in the middle of the night to discuss yours truly.
“Is something wrong with her?”. Is she sick”. “What made her lose so much ” etc.


I was snoring my socks off not knowing that some people were bereft of sleep because of me. The following day I was called to a meeting. They sat me down and began to express their concerns. I was laughing. I mean I still want to lose more! I want to be skinny. As I was still saying that my mum almost slapped my teeth off.
She said stop whatever you are doing immediately. This weight loss doesn’t fit you. You look better chubby. But I don’t want to be chubby I say. She says well that’s your own. You are in my house and you must add some weight before you are seen outside with me.

That was how they got on their mission to make me add back a little flesh. I found myself eating things I normally wouldn’t eat, at the times I wouldn’t usually eat, and stopping my regular green tea.

To be fair to her people were asking if I fell ill each time we went out so I understood her pain. She genuinely couldn’t sleep for days after she saw me for the first time.

This turn of events left me wondering. Everyone says I look different but to be honest I don’t feel like a different person. Not at all. I had a whole change of wardrobe because all my former clothes were now hanging on me and looked ill-fitting.

My tailor grumbled because my waist was too small and it stressed her to get my proportions right. People will at me and ask if I had a waist trainer on.

I knew I had something. I knew a lot of people are struggling with their weight and I can give them my tips. Draw a guideline that helped me. So that’s why we are here. That’s why YOU are here.

Perhaps this is your story? You’ve been taunted all your life about being overweight. Or you probably just suddenly started putting on weight. Or you are looking to just drop a few pounds. Or you are skinny but have a not-so-flat tummy. Probably looking to SNATCH that tummy and waist. I want to say WELCOME.

I’ve shared all I know. And I hope that everything you’ve learned here will bring about the change that you seek. You must do well to put at least two things into practice immediately. Give yourself time also. These are not quick weight loss tips. It will build up. Give yourself 6 months to 1 year.
